This position is housed within the Environmental Health Department of ARHS, which promotes public health through implementation and evaluation of sound sanitation practices and environmental conditions for all citizens of our district. The Environmental Health Specialist promotes environmental health and sanitation through education, surveillance, consultation, inspection, and enforcement of local, state, and federal environmental health laws and regulations. This position specifically conducts food and lodging evaluations and inspections. Base location will be determined by where the employee lives and agency needs.
